With the NIGHT BREAKER H4-LED, the first LED retrofit for dipped beam to be approved in Germany is now on the market. The retrofit solution offers motorists significant advantages: very high cold white color temperature of 6000 Kelvin with up to 220% more brightness compared to the minimum requirements of the ECE R112 standard, up to 5 times lifespan longer compared to halogen lamps and 50% less glare. The professional NIGHT BREAKER LED kit is specially designed for wholesalers and contains all available adapter variants. Applies only to vehicle models listed in the ABG (see www.osram.de/ledcheck). According to §22a StVZO, a paper printout and general type approval (ABG) are required. Use only in right-hand traffic. Driving in left-hand traffic (e.g. in England) requires upgrading to halogen lamps. OSRAM offers suitable installation accessories for LED lamps.

Product Legal Notice 1

1) H4-LED low beam approved for Germany. Applies only to vehicle models listed in the ABG. According to §22a StVZO, a paper printout and general type approval (ABG) are required. Use only in right-hand traffic. Driving in left-hand traffic (e.g. in England) requires upgrading to halogen lamps. 
The ABG deadline is only relevant for OSRAM as the manufacturer. The lamps purchased remain approved and can remain installed in the vehicle (grandfathered). 
OSRAM is also making efforts to extend the validity of the ABG so that these lamps can also be offered long term.
