First NIGHT BREAKER LED

With the NIGHT BREAKER H7-LED, the first LED retrofit for dipped headlights to be approved in Germany is now on the market. The retrofit solution offers motorists significant advantages: very high cold white color temperature of 6,000 Kelvin with up to 220% more brightness compared to the minimum requirements of ECE R112, up to 5 times longer service life compared to halogen lamps and an additional 50% less glare. The NIGHT BREAKER LED professional set is specially designed for wholesalers and contains all available adapter variants. Only applies to the vehicle models listed in the ABG (see www.osram.de/ledcheck). According to §22a StVZO, a paper printout and a general type approval (ABG) are required. Use only in right-hand traffic. Driving in left-hand traffic (e.g. England) requires upgrading to halogen lamps. OSRAM offers suitable installation accessories for the LED lamps.

Legal product notice 1

1) Approved H7-LED low beam for Germany. Only applies to the vehicle models listed in the ABG. According to §22a StVZO a paper printout and a general type approval (ABG) are required. Use only in right-hand traffic. Driving in left-hand traffic (e.g. England) requires upgrading to halogen lamps.
The time limit of the ABG is only relevant for OSRAM as a manufacturer. Purchased lamps remain approved and can remain installed in the vehicle (grandfathering).
OSRAM is also making efforts to extend the validity of the ABG so that these lamps can also be offered on a long-term basis.
